The Gospel of Luke

Jesus Through the Eyes of a Converted Gentile

COURSE OVERVIEW

Online | September 28 - December 13 | 7pm | 10 weeks

The Gospel of Luke tells the story of Jesus as an invitation to witness the salvation of God through a powerful movement of God’s Spirit (Luke 3:6; Acts 28:28).  Luke presents some of the Church’s most beloved memories of Jesus from the perspective of promises fulfilled, a timely reminder that God always has been and will continue to be faithful.

Like the famous Greek historian Herodotus, Luke presents a systematic and careful investigation of Jesus’ life and ministry. In this online class, you will have the opportunity to weigh the evidence presented for yourselves and answer the question, “Who is this man about whom I hear such things?” (Luke 9:7).

And at the end, each of you will be able to say, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the way and opened the Scriptures to us?" (Luke 24:32).
